Wallace,
if you will, could you please have a look at post #16 on the thread related to my new published filter Aquarelle Plus?
Level-0 encountered an error that to my system ignorance appears to be a system error and not an application error.
Do you have any experience on such kind of errors?
Could you suggest how to avoid it?
Thanks a lot in advance.

In anticipation of an expert, a few thoughts:

I used to have a similar problem - I couldn't use Gimp and Firefox at the same time (one caused the other to freeze) - but after one update the problem solved itself.
Unfortunately, I don't know which program was the reason: Gimp, Firefox or Windows.
Everything points to Windows and a similar problem (because of gspawn-win32-helper.exe) was reported here:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/issues/4582
(pay attention to: or maybe some non-plug-in files, in any plug-ins folder?)
DIEGO_ARTISTIC_AquarellePlus.py works fine for me for Win10 64bit and Gimp Samj 2.10.14 - 2.10.18.

Expert?
:rofl

It looks like a gspawn-win32-helper.exe error.

From what I understand about the,
gspawn-win32-helper.exe.
It's an executable file that was part of the GIMP 2.6.11.

locate it and move it to a different location.
This might stop the error.
If not move it back.

The name of the file which had given the error is gspawn-win32-helper.exe
.
Move this file temporarily form it's location.
To test if this fixes the error.
