Nice, Meemaw. I love the one of the Perseids and the other one is really great, too.

I live in Oregon and Mount Shasta farther is north of where I live but it's always a treat to see that mountain.

I don't know a lot about southern skies. Is that the Southern Cross to the left of the moon?

If it is, it kind of reminds me of the shape of the dipper part of the Little Dipper (Ursa Minor).

Sorry O.
I know I should know my skies but I am not an astromoner. I do know there is a smaller brightish 5th star in the Cross and it points to the South though - There are many stars that will make a cross and that's what gets me mixed up. Maybe another Southerner can tell you.

EDIT: I think this was taken from Peru amd it also has the names of the four points
