Nice, Meemaw. I love the one of the Perseids and the other one is really great, too. I live in Oregon and Mount Shasta farther is north of where I live but it's always a treat to see that mountain. ![]() |

I don't know a lot about southern skies. Is that the Southern Cross to the left of the moon? ![]() If it is, it kind of reminds me of the shape of the dipper part of the Little Dipper (Ursa Minor). ![]() |

Sorry O. I know I should know my skies but I am not an astromoner. I do know there is a smaller brightish 5th star in the Cross and it points to the South though - There are many stars that will make a cross and that's what gets me mixed up.
