There was a big solar storm over the last few days. Here is a link to some photos.

Many aurora pix use filters but these colors could be seen with the naked eye. It just looked spooky from where I am. We have hills to the South and miss most auroras.

I need to tell that on the website, it hurts me to see that on the video, the guy is in portrait using the front camera for an event like this.. :mrgreen:

According to a veteran photographer, for those in Tasmania and even the Victorian south coastal area, Aurora Australia has produced its best ever show.

Hi sallyann, hi PixLab people spoil their shots all the time in portrait mode rather than landscape mode :(

Figured out I miss most auroras because they are past my bedtime :)
