I really didn't know quite were to post this.

This little piece of software seems to do all the stuff that Camstudio is just shy of. I wish somebody would pickup that project! =(

The name of the software is PointerFocus. Unfortunately, this one has price tag on it $10 ($9.95 to be exact).

Although it seems the person/company that dev'd. this has you over barrel when it comes to upgrades. Bah!

I think it's still work the look! I wonder if there's a linux version of this?

For the keyboard monitor status portion there is Key-mon. Not sure about the other bells and whistles. I use various Google extensions for mouse control/zooming/highlighting, etc.

Thank mahvin!

I was looking at desktop recording app for linux this afternoon before I split for work. Didn't get that far into it. But that's pretty interesting!

Not to mention free. :)
This is the same app HeathenX used for his Inkscape tutorials.

I wonder if this program will integrate well with Fast Stone Capture?
It would be nice to have those features in your screen captures.

EDIT - it does work well with Fast Stone but the keyboard selections do not show.
It isn't really the kind of effect i want (mouse-click shows, and keyboard click shows)
I really do not need a magnifier, and Fast Stone has a spotlight already.

I guess it would be okay for a cam on your pc (so you could see the keyboard shorts used), but other than that i see no use for it.
