I went to Silver Falls State Park this morning, hiked quite a bit. Took the Canon along to test some new lens and filters. I need a backpack, one that will hold my tripod and my camera bag, so I can keep my hands free with the walking sticks (you'll need them here, as the trails can be very steep).

Anyway, I didn't get a lot of pictures, as I had hoped. I was just in too much awe viewing the falls.

This is the South Falls.

I love nature! The color and detail in the second shot is so cool. That picture would be a good candidate for one of the HDR filters.
