I don't know what to say...words can't express how we feel for you and your family.
I think Mahvin said it all. This whole forum is praying for her comeback and hoping for a positive turn a round before the New Year. We miss her "Hi Guys" intro into her tutorials also.

"Keep fighting Jolie...we are all pulling for you."

I still wish God speed to Jolie's recovery too Ann and thanks for keeping s abreast of the situation. I wish I could know a cure for what she has but from what I can gather from you, the symptoms (other then the infection itself) don't make sense to me.

Just reading everything her mom has posted, Fibromyalgia comes to mind instantly.

3 medicines have been approved in the US for treating Fibromyalgia, Pregabalin was approved in June, 2007, duloxetine was approved in June, 2008, and milnacipran in January, 2009. However, these are treating the symptoms, and not the cause.

There is no known cure for Fibromyalgia.

Symptoms include chronic widespread pain and allodynia, a heightened and painful response to pressure, debilitating fatigue, sleep disturbance, joint stiffness, difficulty with swallowing, bowel and bladder abnormalities, numbness and tingling, and cognitive dysfunction. It is frequently combined with psychiatric conditions such as depression and anxiety and stress-related disorders such as posttraumatic stress disorder.

Fibromyalgia is, like my recent bout with Bell's Palsy, a diagnosis of exclusion, meaning if they can't find any other reason to explain the symptoms it is used as a catch all explanation.

I am not a doctor, so don't take my word as medical advice. Also understand that there is a lot of controversy surrounding Fibromyalgia in the world of doctors.

Ann and Jolie,
While I am still new to this forum I have only heard good about you. I am sorry that someone, anyone really, has to go through any type of sickness that hits the human body so violently. So will I may not have participated in your highly popular GIMP Games, or commented on your wonderful postings, I can honestly say you have my families prayers 'till you get better and beyond. The only words that come to mind when I think of this are these: "Kick that Bugs A**!" Hope to see you back on the keyboard soon!

Sorry it took so long that you hear anything from me. I hoped that I had a good message
but it is getting worse with Jolie. Next month a specialist is coming here. He has
experience with such patients. Meanwhile there is taken blood for a lot of tests. So we
are waiting and hope that the specialist know a solution. But it shall take a long time.
Jolie is sending her greetings to all of you.
Ann

We have all been anxious to here from you and we think of Joilie often, wondering how she is. Hope they do find something in all these blood tests that will give the answer to what to use for a cure.
It is great that a specialist is on his way and at least he may have some answers.
Thank you Ann for keeping us up to date and we know how hard it is for you not being able to do anything... and I'm am sure Jolie appreciates everything you are doing.

Get Well Jolie, we miss you

I found out about Gimpchat through Jolie's Youtube videos a number of months before joining. Like ZWard117, I'm relatively new here and feel much the same way. Nobody should have to suffer like that and I sincerely hope she gets well and does so soon.

it's been a while ago since you heard from me about Jolie. The
specialist who would come was here last week. Following
the results of blood tests he had made a treatment plan but after seeing Jolie he changed the plan because she is too weak for heavy medication. She receives resources for strengthening and extra oxygen administered etc. This is for at least 3 months. After 3 months we will see further.
You all get greetings from her and she thanks you all for the thoughts and prayers
Ann
