Yes, when some one tells you that the rabbits won't eat your plants with thistles, don't believe them. :teeth
As soon as Easter is over I am out to get them. beware.

What does a rabbit eating your plants have to do with the story?
And how did Brer Rabbit get out of the briar patch, and up the hill?

He outwitted the fox by telling him he could throw him anywhere but don't throw him in the briar patch. So after listening to him telling him all that, the fox threw him in the briars
The rabbit lived in a briar patch all his life.

I got that part of the story, but not how he got up the hill?
So a rabbit ate your plant, isn't that what rabbits do?
Maybe I don't get it after all. :?
