I would like for Wallace to be considered as a mediator.
He is resourceful, talented, helpful and above all unbiased.
Any more votes :bigthup

Hi my friends, I've just come back from my holidays. You are right SysTemX in your election, Wallace would be a great mediator.
My vote for him without doubt. In addition to these qualities said, he has valuable human quality and sense humour. :)

An intermediary between moderator and member ;-}
But he would make a fine Moderator.

If I was twenty-one, I'd vote for him. ;)

I wasn't aware GnuTux had made the process democratic. It's not that Wallace wouldn't make a fine moderator so much as that it's disrespectful to the site owner to give my opinion when it wasn't requested. He doesn;t tell me how to GIMP. I don't tell him how to operate his website.

Not speaking of the pressure it puts on the targeted individual. Personally, I think that it should be an official rule that GC members names be outlawed from threads titles.

This thread is closed for now for further discussion by the staff.

Previously, whenever we've had the need for additional staff members, we started a thread asking for volunteers, with a brief outline of what the responsibilities of that position would be. The staff then chooses the candidate we feel would be best for that position.

I do think Wallace would make a fine moderator and would certainly be a top contender, if he were to volunteer for any future staff openings that become available. :bigthup
