They just released it. I'm still using Iron and in my XP so won't be using Chrome anytime soon. Still curious. :)

I just had a look and it's still in beta. Since Chrome is my default browser I don't wanna muck with experimenting with a beta. But I'm sure once it goes release it will be fine. Just like the original.

Seems to work fine for me.

I make a great avoiding arc around anything Goggle. After all, non of the Obamas, Merkels, Camerons, Ueli Maurers and so on have to know what I am looking at. DuckDuckGo is a perfect search engine and Firefox equallly as Browser with Thunderbird as Email-Client. Really, Googgle is as bad an Microsoft, Apple and Adobe et al.

Yeah; I avoid Google too. I actually use the Iron Browser which is based on Chromium. I actually posted at the Iron forum if they are going to offer a 64-bit version or not. :)

I write my tuts in google docs. I use chrome as my browser and gmail as my email. I can attest that none of the men in black give a hoot what I do online. Besides, there's always adblock.

I've been using 64-bit Chrome for a few months and it seems solid except for one thing that I haven't been able to make work. One site that I have to use for work requires a QuickTime plugin and apparently there isn't a working one for 64-bit yet (or at least I haven't been able to find one and get it to shows up in chrome://plugins, and functions).

Looks like SR Iron will have 64-bit too (and soon). Not been released yet though. :)
