Who here likes word searches?

I like them once in a while, but the real reason I'mma asking is because I've mad 3 for my game blog and put in the 4 Kidz section...So if anyone likes that kinda thing although you're not a child have at it!

Then I took a screenshot of the puzzle and copied the list and arranged put it together in GIMP.

Word Searches are on the bottom, coloring pages are on top.

I like word searches. 30 years ago, loved crosswords too. Like them less now because I am not so good at solving them any more.

Great idea Moko. Those are really good for teaching kids (adults, too) to recognize words, and learning to read in more than one direction. :bigthup

"LEAK" is the first word i found but it's not on the list.

I just had an idea. since it's for kids, some of they might get frustrated after a while if they don't find the word.
You can like have a solution page. And then highlight each word with a different color and hightlight where the solution is with the same color.
Just a simple idea to add more content to your page.

sort of like this, except with all the words highlighted in different colors matching the solution's color.

like this but do it for all of them (i was had problems finding the rest of them)

Second! - That's a good idea, it would take some time since I used a generator and I'd have to do the word searches myself to find the words...But it would add some content to the page so...Maybe I'll do that. :tyspin

If you're willing to recreate your puzzles
After you generate your puzzle, you can click on "Solution" at the same site that you gave the link to. This might help you speed up the process of creating puzzles with highlighted solutions.

I also found rule.

The solution thing messed up with me before but atm I don't mind looking, it gives me something to do anyways.xD

i am wondering why you didn't use different colors, there are too many shades of the same color it's kind'a difficult to pinpoint

I did but I made it one color, you think going many colors is better?

i think using many colors will be easier for kids (well and me too) to identify solution.
