I just uploaded a video clip on youtube of a 6sec animation I made with a 3D modeling/animation app that i use for making backgrounds in some of my artwork. I know it is a little too quick on the speed and doesn't have any sound. Basically I'm wanting some unbiased opinions about my attempt at making CGI animations since my only critic is my mom, and if all I did was render a cone with a sphere on top she'd say I was better than all the other cone/spheres (I love her for that though) so if anyone wouldn't mind checking out my clip and giving me feedback that would be awesome. Here's the link http://youtu.be/_-md62UnDKM

The MF obviously got a new hyperspace engine that alleviates all inertia problems :) More seriously, the Falcon seems to move freely along all three axes (it even goes backwards towards the end), when its orientation should be globally along the main direction of movement (while a bit of drift is acceptable, and even recommended).

PS: maybe I should change my handle to "NotYourMother" (or even "InteDinMamma", given my frequent target) :)

Thank you ofnuts for the movement tip. The slight backwards movement at the end I believe was due to the camera overtaking the model at the end of the timeline.

I like your video, although I feel it's a bit fast, but I guess that was intended. Even so, I think it could be a little slower.
Also, you did a great job on the Falcon.
