I don't have a Poinsetta image to share; how about a Christmas cactus flower instead. lol

My Mom's plant is now over 14 years old and ugly, but still it's thriving. Not going to re-capture; tried to fix the focus but again, it's too fragile to try to position it for a better one (don't want to damage the plant; it's that fragile). My guess is there's at least 15 flowers blooming right now; some buds still not opened up yet. A few of them are white, but the majority of them are pink as shown. :)

It's quite beautiful, you must have a green thumb to get it to bloom every year!

It's fragile as you said, specialy when thriving. But this plant make many air roots. (We can see it on photo 2)
So when it falls, take a part and put it on a newspaper during 8 days. It'll become a new cactus if you take care of it.

I'm actually trying to grow a frawn now Fran. It's still allive afterr 3 months but have not really grown yet (but still green so I have some hope). I also have 5 huge Mother-in-law Tongues in the dining room that are over 30 years old now 2-Ton. Indoor plants do keep the house smelling clean. These plants were my mothers, but now they are mine. :)

my sister has some mother in law tongues that she has had for years. My oldest plant is a small potted tree that managed to survive a house fire. It's probably 20 yrs old by now.

My Christmas cactus is prolific; this is the first one that actually completely bloomed (over 2 dozen more are about ready or budding out now). Still hoping to see other Winter flowers from you all. :)
