I've never had this problem before, but when I upload an image to Photobucket with a transparent background, it gets a black background when uploaded. I think it's the image itself. I tried another image, smaller, and didn't have that problem. Any solutions? Thanks.

I could image that Photobucket is re-sizing your larger image to a smaller size for display purposes, and in doing so is removing the transparency.

Does Photobucket provide a link to an original? And if it does, can you download the original and does that have transparency?

That's exactly what it is. Photobucket no longer supports original sizes. Bummer.

The Warrior, did you ever use Tiny Pic? It really works well, its free and less cluttered than photobucket.

I actually have an account there, but forgot all about it. Funny, Photobucket owns Tiny Pic, yet it works fine there, original size and all. Is there a way to make albums private, like you can in Photobucket? I don't want them publicly viewed.

Gee I am not sure, I haven't used it for years. There must be a way. I will Google it to see if I can find anything.

Here is what I found Warrior

Q: Can I make my images private?

A: Currently all images uploaded are public. If you would like better control over your images, we recommend using Photobucket.

That kind of sucks, but, I'm sure there's other hosts out there. Thanks for the heads up though, appreciate it.

Check out DropBox, also Google Drive for free file storage that's private.
