For an European (or at least an Italian or at least to me...) it would be nicer to have the "00" hour display instead of "12" when showing the a.m. time
to me 12:43 am sounds a bit unusual because "ante meridiem" means "before twelve o'clock", thus it...should not show a value past 12 (=meridies)...
just an opinion
(also from a..."mathematical" viewpoint it now appears that:

I know, but the consequences are those I've shown (0:01am will come AFTER 12:59am SAME DAY!!).
It's because of an abnormal use of the term am, IMO.
At least it should say: 12:47 of the day 20, not 21.....hehehe
