I don't know. Hydraulic fracturing has been blamed as cause for some sink holes i think.Not sure about quakes but i wouldn't doubt it.This one was under the ground about 3.5 - 5 kilometers. I guess folks as far as Indiana felt it too.
I actually heard and felt it. A very low rumble like a train in the distance. Last one i believe in Michigan was farther North and created a big split in the earth. It's the first one i have ever experienced in my 51 years of living here.
A friend of mine was working at the local liquor store Saturday , and when the quake hit all the bottles were moving on the shelves.
