Yes, I do have the Vimeo channel mapped on my Roku, but it's like wack to do a search just to play a video. Instead, below's the steps I use to watch the video (similar for youtube but you don't have to delete the s in https for the Win8.1/10 Roku app). For starters, you need to have a link in mind. I'll use a link that a friend of mine emailed me that he created as reference: https://vimeo.com/132012163

Go to Keepvid's site and paste this and do a search; they will give you several options. Just choose the highest streaming resolution that you can play and that's available (note that do not pick the video only link; in this case all the links are streaming which is cool. I did crop the website image for obvious reasons, but you get the gist. I chose the 720p since my Roku and TV is capable of playing up to 1080p. Also, ignore the blue error text in the image shown; I use various ad blockers and also use Privoxy.):

Now, right-click and copy the link:

Paste it into the Roku app (app is free; came with Win8.1, but now I am on Win10. Of course you have to manually remove the s in https; again, you don't have to for youtube. Not sure why you have to for Vimeo videos):

Now click Play mp4 Video blue button and it will play on your Roku. Assumed that you paired your app with your Roku. I did. The procedure sounds like a lot of work, but, just try to do a search for a particular video in Roku. Now you know why I like to caste. lolol

As a side note, it's a good bet that if you just copied the mp4 video link (with s intact) into your browser, it will play in the browser. I just tried this with my Edge browser and it played fine. :)

Looks like Vimeo changes their link for videos so the example I did above for the mp4 link won't work now (original Vimeo link is still valid of course) so this result from KeepVid is temporary. I guess this is a strategy for security reasons and I've seen this type of strategy implemented before. Just use the same flow to get a new link from KeepVid. :)
