When you poor, like me, you have to buy on the cheap. Still, with folks like you all, how can I be poor? Rich in many ways I am. I hope all you have a great day. Just finished cooking my bird by the way; have to work late evening into Black Friday so going to try to hit the hay after I eat. lol

:)

We ate, came home from my sister's, put the chickens to bed, will have dessert then go to take a big nap. I have to work a 14 hr overnight shift. Ugh. But then I'll have time for another nice nap before going to daughters house for another big dinner, lol.
p.s. If you are one of those that shops on Thanksgiving, you are not my friend, lol. :hehe

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate. Cleverly done Lyle :)

2-ton do you work in retail?
I have been known to do my Christmas shopping on Christmas eve.

Yes, indeed, I work in retail. It is quite the eye-opener to what people are really like if you have ever been a clerk/cashier.

I'm now working retail too 2-ton, but did floor work earlier (recovery of the towels and rugs mainly; helped customers where I could as well). 14 hours as cashregister? You're back must be sore. If I stood still this long, I would be going the Emergency Room by now. lol

Rest well 2-ton. :)

Luckily I don't just do the registers...jack of all trades but master at non, lol. But today it was busy enough that I did have to ring registers a lot. I rarely have to stand still very long, lots of work to do all over the department!

I really hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving like I did. We celebrated on the 27th as my son worked on Thanksgiving (12 hr shifts) and would not have been present. It's hard to see your grown children once they are out of the house with their families. Our other son, wife, and 2 kids could not come up from Georgia this year, so that was the sad part. However, our nephew, his wife and 2 children were able to visit and have dinner with us. He was also able to bring his sister, our niece. Whe had not seen them for several years so this made for a very pleasant holiday. Again, hoping everyone had a wonder day!
