If Apple made a car,
would it have Windows?

I don't know but it would run on special gasoline at $20 a gallon, for a "better user experience".

I know why I love my machine,
so why do you love yours.

Honestly, Wallace, I've been working with computers longer than I'd care to admit (IBM/Wang). Have had Microsoft PC/Windows forever. I wanted to try something else. Sometimes there's a blip where something so easily available for Windows isn't for Mac but there's always a way around it (eg., Winebottler). I'm so glad that this forum acknowledges us Mac folk too ;)

My first compute experience was on a Macintosh M0001 "Fat Mac" back in 84,
I was hooked.
I went on from there,
to learn how to build my own computer.
Sadly enough,
none of the computer I've built thus far have included Apple/Macintosh in their construction.
I understand how you feel and thanks for you explanation.

I remember those IBM's.

Here's a picture of the Mac,
that started it all off for me.

Here's what I'm working with now.
It's a night time shot.
Taken to show the orange LED lights I installed to the back of my monitor.

The computer was an old Dell,
but the only thing old about it is the chassis/case.
I replaced everything inside of it with all new modern parts.
It looks old, but it preforms like a champ.

Thank you Dalia. :bigthup
I worked hard to make it look and function the way I imagined it would be.
It's a very nice space,
which I'm very proud of.

Wow, Wallace, your computer desk is immaculate. Mine is cluttered with so many note books, stacks of notes, coffee cup warmer, rolodex for all my passwords, pack of post a notes, a couple pens, a necklace I forgot to put away, a washcloth to set my can of pop on, and more.

That's interesting.
Sounds like you're pretty busy.
I have most of the same stuff too,
but I keep that in the desk draws.

I also have a collapsible set of snack table,
to put any beverages or snacks on.
I like keep any drinks or food away from my desk.

I have always used mac computers but having said that, I have a virtual machine on my mac and have done that also for years...presently I have Windows 7 installed on it on a Virtual Machine, with PSP. I use PSP to convert the PSP tubes to PNG so that I can use them in GIMP.
I am also thinking about putting one of the LINUX OS's on the Virtual machine as well.
