Yesterday, while gardening, we had a surprise visitor who popped into our undercover patio area for a rest - a kookaburra

We have had Lorikeets on the fan before but never a kooka - we think it was after the fish in the pond nearby!

Good pictures. Sometimes we get birds on our screened in porch. Not sure how they get there. We usually leave something open for awhile for them to escape.

Lyle - no worries for us; there is a roof but its not fully enclosed. We couild see it was eying off the pond, just to the left and which reflects on the roof.
