 Post subject: Is Wallace in my garden?

Catching up with gardening yesterday, a bit rainy, cloudy and dull, but I think Wallace has been in my garden. This is my mint bush (Prostanthera ovalifolia) in full bloom ...

... of course today its very sunny and the colour really stands out!

Kimba - 95% of my garden is Oz natives and most are in full colour right now including Kangaroo Paw well over 2 metres in height; for native mint bushes this link is a useful reference -

Just to make it clear there has been no GIMP influence on the photo of the mint bush - that purple is its natural colour, although they can also throw white or pink offspring in some cases.

It's the Australian sunlight. It's a harsher light so everything looks brighter.
