Hi, everyone;

This is sort of off-topic, but sort of not.... I thought I'd get some opinions...

I'm sure you have noticed that I use Linux on my home computers, specifically, PCLinuxOS. I am on the staff of the PCLinuxOS Magazine and have been doing articles about Gimp and Inkscape for several years (mostly simple tutorials that I found online and learned, then shared.) Amazingly enough, I still don't feel like I know enough about Gimp to be anything close to an expert.... I'm just sharing things I've learned...

I hope this doesn't get me in trouble with anyone, but my column for the November 2016 issue of the magazine is on several of the add-ons that I found here. I am still writing it, but I plan to credit the creators and the forum members and urge my readers to come over here and sign up (and over to Gimp Learn as well).

I thought I'd tell everyone beforehand to make sure I'm not stepping on any toes...

:tyspin

I think it's a great idea, and I think it would be nice to also add a few of our members own gimp website addresses.

I support this because it'll help grow GIMP's user base. And that's good for every one. ;)

Booting this back to the top.... just to tell you that it's actually the March 2017 issue that will have this article. There is an html version, as well as a PDF and 2 ebook versions. http://pclosmag.com/index.html to come out shortly after the 1st of March.

If I have any inaccuracies in the article, please let me know....

WTF is that server? Doesn't look like a magazine web site... only a few files (TAR)... nothing that looks like PDF or HTML...

If something's wrong with the article, I'd appreciate knowing about it.
