The size of gimpchat.com in Gigabytes?
Estimate?
The host for the forum i am using now currently has
Disk Usage 421.81 MB/97.66 GB
MySQL® Databases 66.94 MB/97.31 GB
and right now it's hitting this error
---------------------
Resource Limit Is Reached
The website is temporarily unable to service your request as it exceeded resource limit. Please try again later.
---------------------
I know it's probably request limit which is strange too because i am only recording 150 visitors most days even less. So i opened a ticket with them but while i am at it i was looking at disk space and database space.
So i am just wondering how large gimpchat.com is...

You are likely hitting a traffic limit (too many/big downloads).

GimpChat seems to currently hold 22600 attachments (given the ids of new attachments). Even with 1MB attachments this is 22GB, pretty small by today's standards.

Your software likely has some measure of the traffic it generated in its admin panel...

Edit: Your forum seems to hold about 500 attachments, so if you are around 480MB your average attachment is quite big. If phpBB allows it you can restrict downloads & full-size pictures to registered members. You can also restrict the size of the uploads.

I see that you forum is advertisement-funded so you host could be having a traffic-to-ads-shown rule, which is hard to sustain if your visitors have an ad-blocker.
