Regardless, I might experiment with this for its ability to flush out fluoride (not to mention, my friend came back to visit (have scoliosis; very slight and have had back issues since a kid. Did not know I had scoliosis until my final military physical before leaving the military and the examiner not only said I had scoliosis, but said I should not have been allowed to even enlist in the military. I remember my back getting thrown out of wack after riding over the tank tracks in the desert so I can attest to his diagnosis. lol. Every so often, my friend comes back to visit (back pain). It use to be as low as once every 2 to 3 year, but now I'm experience it 3 to 4 times a year). If borax can address my back pain and also the bit of arthritis that I've developed in the left hand heal part of the palm where the thumb's located, I would be happy.

Lyle please, be careful. Don't start to ingest it until you talk it with a doctor or any specialist. Sorry if I sound very radical but the matter is serious in my opinion.

This article has actually answered some questions that I have been seeking answers to. Dr's couldn't answer questions about why my calcium levels were so high (causing mega kidney stones). I'm going to bring this article to my nephrologist! I use borax in my swimming pool, as it is the safest way to adjust my pH.

Yeah; plan on getting a box soon. As for doctors, I don't see them period, Issabella. 52 years old now; maybe I should, but my parents saw their doctors monthly due to health issues. I might actually be sick but don't know it. Regardless, at the moment, ignorance is bliss.

Lyle, do not waste your money. The first sentence lets you know that this is an advertisement. If it can change the economic system it would have already done so. Besides, it can be harmful. If it makes you hang onto calcium too much, that makes other changes such as losing phosphorus. As for the references, there is always some truths in lies. That is what makes it believable! Only what seems to support their statements is used.

Well, bought a back of Epsom salt and box of Borox and actually started the regime. Based on the amounts shown, I'm going to start by taking a pinch of Borox with a pinch of Epsom salt in 16oz cup of water and just once a day. Believe that amount won't kill me. lol

Thought I should post an update. It's now been just over a month. Though the pain in my thumb joint is still partially there, I can now say, unequivocally that this treatment definitely works. If I had known about this 5 years ago, I would not have been suffering it for that long. The sharp pain's now reduced to a duller one that's not even noticed if I don't shake the left hand or do anything with it (before the pain was noticeable regardless, but didn't bother me unless I was actively using it).

Where did you buy the borax? I couldn't find it in Walmart.

Bought it at Wal-Mart; located in the laundry detergent section as I recall. Believe I bought the Epsom salt at Big Lots (but Wal-Mart sells that too).

Hard to believe I've been taking Borax with a pinch of Epsom salt for 4 years now. Knees feel great. Do this regime 4 days a week (and 3 days off). Ended up using 1/4 Teaspoon of Borax to a pinch of Epsom Salt. Anyway, happened to see this link in similar topics, so felt it worth entering an update. lol

I tried Borax and not impressed. My final solution is to use a mixture (2:1:1/3) of Turmeric, Ginger and Black Pepper. Works great and I feel 10 years younger at least. Been using it for the last year or so. I wouldn't be able to do the Job I'm doing without it, that's for sure.

By the way, Prunes are a good source of Boron and probably better/safer than taking Borax directly.....

Good you found something that worked for you, racer-x. Heard a lot of good things about Turmeric but have not added that supplement to my regime yet. May do so in the future.
