There's certainly no lack of the holiday cheer,
despite the weather.
I've never thought about this before,
but I now wonder what winter must be like,
for those living down-under.

Yes, we celebrate Xmas at around the longest day of the year while in the Northern hemisphere it's celebrated around the time of the longest night of the year.

My little town in Northern Tasmania had a 'carols by candle light' last week that featured a 2 hour performance by an Elvis impersonator. If I was confused what about the children?

I accept that life on this planet started in deep sea hydrothermal vents 4 billion years ago. Merry Xmas :)
