I just wanted to wish everyone a happy, if belated Holiday Season, and a better New Year. I'd go into what's keeping me busy but I assume there's still a policy against political content. Sufficed to say I am a federal lawyer and there's been a lot to do. I hope to have more free time for GIMP (and everything else) this Spring. In the interim I hope everyone is well, and if the developers of GIMP are working on .svg or .webp file types now or in the future, both of which i use frequently, that would be nice.

Gimp 2.10 supports .webp file format.
If you want to edit .svg files, Inkscape would the free vector equivalent to use.
I could be wrong, but I don't think Gimp will have major .svg support, other than importing and exporting the paths.
