Went to my favorite open photo site to render a mosaic and found that thes site's been suspended for whatever reason; bummer. Some of my reference photos still can be found using the wayback machine but apparently not the site itself; weird. The WBMs getting taken over by the technocrats and that's not a good thing; sad.

OK; looks like the wayback machine does work for the main site; just needed to go to the main sight to input the url. Still bummed, though.

Pinterest has turned into a photo ________ much like other big photo sites are taking images from all over the web and claiming them as their own images, water-marking them, and charging people to use them, when they don't even own them. I visited a tool site recently and istock photo claimed rights to the images on their own site. Incredulous how many corporate criminals run around on the web.

Google recently sent me a request to remove the audio from a video, claiming that a rock band in Korea owned the rights to the music (we're in dispute over this currently). The problem? The video in question doesn't even have audio. I'm telling ya, the road to the future might be paved with good intentions, but I fear it's leading somewhere much worse.

Yeah; feel ya, Mahvin. Pretty soon they'll just ban the whole internet due to copyright idiocy (and then there goes my fun time; lol). Oh well. Enjoy play time while we can.

Just keep your gimp active. No reason we cannot still gimp if they take it away from us but hey we have been around since before so shouldn't have any problem reverting back.

That's a shame, I got the lovely mannequins from that site.
