As we head deeper into autumn and the daylight hours reduce, my early morning walk takes place in the dark. Not a frightening darkness, but an exhilarating atmosphere of nature at its best – the clear (or cloudy) sky with a full moon, a tranquil park setting with large eucalypt trees but not even a zephyr of breeze and the only sounds are the melodious magpie and an occasional raucous kookaburra.

Very nice OMG. Have noticed the mornings being darker & darker. If you have DST we are going back this weekend to normal time so will gain an hour next Sunday. Your morning walks should be in the daylight again for awhile until Winter really comes around.

Sunrise and sunset will be about 1 hour earlier on 4 Apr 2021 than the day before. There will be more light in the morning.

Very nice photos, OMG! Thanks for sharing. Sadly, I do not get up early to photo dawn. I've often thought about it but but it has not happened for a long time. Today, too much heavy cloud, mist, and intermittent rain for any exciting photos. I should really get in the happen of rising early again!
