Same settings for Chrome as well.

For Edge, you type edge://flags (Chrome users use chrome://flags) in the address bar and then change the desired settings. Note, you may want to lay off Choose ANGLE graphics backend to Default, but OpenGL helped my system. Just sharing a tip. Best to remember the original settings before toying and I suggest you do a setting at a time to make sure you won't have any issue with your particular browsing setup. :)

I mainly use MyPal (Palemoon thus Firefox variant) in my XP VM (which I'm typing this in now by the way), ofnuts, since MyPal still supports XP with security updates as well as SSL/TLS support. Still, more often than not of recent, I've had to do a lot of browsing in my host browser. That's when I said, why the heck is Edge so freaking slow and then I did a lot of research as well as testing on my own and came up with the tweaks that speed things up more to my liking. If you were to only do one of the tweaks above, I highly recommend you check the Override software rendering list. That setting alone really speeds things up dramatically. :)

Amazing that Windows 10 will be 6 years old in July?

And we survived (even though I had to do a complete rebuild of the OS twice; lol). Lost my Photoshop on the second rebuild and didn't even care to contact Adobe to get that idiocy straightened out since, well, I'm a GIMPer. lol

Only thing I did miss was ACR but eventually I found an Opensource tool that was happy with (Darktable). :)

OK; this is the final tweaks for Edge that gave me the best perceived results. I did hose (ANGLE settings) OpenGL for Direct3D as shown since, for my particular system, it appeared to give me the faster result. Still others might find OpenGL better. Overall, I'm very amazed how a few tweaks can lead to a huge boost in browser performance. :)
