I just wanted to say a big thank you to GIMP CHAT (GC) for providing me with so much over the last ten years by way of learning, creativity and the pleasure of achieving so many different outcomes.

Thank you to GnuTux for setting up GC and thanks to people like Wallace and Mahvin for keeping it going for so long.

Thanks to Sallyanne who convinced this old guy to join GC in the first place.

I would also like to acknowledge the many GIMP 'masters' for sharing their knowledge, techniques, scripts/plugins, experience and outcomes with all GC members and the public at large. Hopefully, I too have contributed in some small way to this legacy.

Lastly and most importantly, very special thanks to those dear, long term friends that I made through this forum (you know who you are!), and whose support and friendship helped me overcome many challenges and to aspire to new goals.

I have a learnt a lot just by being here too
I am not much of an artist but I'm sure the community has helped me with my photo restoration.

OMG, you are one of the essential members of Gimp Chat and this community owes you so much. not only your creative contribution, your generous way of teaching us new learning methods to achieve novel and realistic graphic effects, but also those other values that you have and transmit to us. That eagerness towards perfection, the determination to follow the objective with patience and your human values that are so valuable in this society.
