No wonder I didn't recognize it, I went all through the rhodo's in Bing and that pic was in the bud stage, It is very beautiful.

I did that edit by eye on a notebook with a poor LCD - and still can't see any visible quantization.

Here is another go with a bit more attention to the histogram, maxing without cropping and the tiniest S curve correction:
