I think my GIMP Registry account got hacked.

Found, first of all, that I was not logged in, then when I tried to log in, I couldn't. I'm in the process of creating a new account; assuming you can't use the same email to create multiple accounts, but it let me. This, to me indicates that my account got hacked. Really getting tired of cybercrooks who have nothing better to do but make other folks miserable. Just wanted to pout.

Please ignore this thread (it was a dyslexic moment); keeping it up since it's a reminder that I'm geting old. lol

Just to continue the laugh, here's the thread that I started at the Registry. Also, I did use another of my many email addresses when I registered at the Registry; strange that I used that particular email (sent myself an email using my temporary new monicker and it was a nasty one since it was to the alledged hacker; lol).

Not that insane yet, but was angry that I got such a bad email; even worse when it was from myself. lol

Thanks for the comments Molly/Drac. Sad that I temporarily (or is it now permanently) lost it. lol

Either you are very creative to come up with that scenario, or you are sharing personal experiences with us ofnuts. lol

Yeah; joke's on me today. I usually am good with the 5 or so passwords that I usually use, but for whatever reason, I did the one at the Registry backwards. Keeping it since why not have one unique password (why I all of a sudden tried the new sequence is anyone's guess, but it worked and I've got my preferred handle once again).

Just being creative, but you are such a great source of inspiration :-) Personally, the main consequence of balding is that I replaced my blonde moments with senior moments (but neither ever implied a computer so far...)
