Hi there,
I've came across this nice realization from Varnai Gyula, a Hungarian artist :

It reminds me the Circlism effect (from G'MIC, inspired by the work of Ben Heine)

How cool is it to see it done for real !

haha, we have a woodpile and I just showed these to the hubs...he just laughed that I would suggest he try something similar!
