I have been using this method for a year now and it works every time. It is such a perfect way to cook corn, Set your microwave to 4 minutes for each cob...2 cobs, set at 8 min.

Useful info - thanks Mo. I usually take the husks off and boil for five minutes then spread with butter.

Awesome...can't wait to try this out! Watching this made me want to have fresh corn for supper, but we didn't grow any and the neighbor's corn isn't ready yet!

It takes every single hair off along with the husks, The corn isn't watery, saves a lot of mess, try it, you will be surprised.

Yep i remember my Aunt Jean would go out back pick a bunch of corn... husk it ...butter it ...re-wrap the corn cob and secure with a rubber band. Then she would microwave it a few pieces at a time. (yes there were microwaves when i was a kid ..lol)

Now i grill it.

I grill them with the husks on them all the time.

Yup; did this myself a few months ago (my own way), but didn't have the gloves to de-husk and talk about some hot hands. lol

I actually put the corn in the freezer with husk intact; keeps quite a long time in the freeze with the husks left. Probably should buy more corn now since it's going to be an expensive proposition (already is) to eat corn. :)

edit:

Should have viewed the video first; I actually cooked (boiled) the corn corn with hunk inplace. lol

:)

If you have a lot to do you can put a few dozen ears in a cooler and fill it with boiling water, then put it in the sun and they will come out fine. I saw an article about it and it seemed interesting so I tried it and it worked fine.
