A tiny life blinks out of existence and the world goes on. In a way that's a comfort, I guess. I had to put Priscilla down, in fact as I type this. A lot of people who know me have seen her on my shoulder for the past 3+ years. How many antidepressants and Oxycodones will it take to take this hurt away?

I don't know who Priscilla was but I'm sorry for your loss. It's not an easy decision to make even when you know it's for the best.

Sad to hear it. Human or animal, a friend is a friend.

Priscilla was one of my favorite rats. As for painting a picture, I wish I had the talent to do that.

If you've got a photo of her, I'd love to have a go.

The only one I have of her is just a little black spot on my shoulder from about 30 feet away. Normally we take pics of all of them but for some reason I didn't take one of her. Thanks for the offer though, it means a lot to me, really.

I had a couple of hamsters when I was a kid and they were pretty cool.

I'm sorry to hear you lost your pet. When my 20 year old cat died, it was like losing a member of the family.

Do you have lots of pets?
