I said I wasn't going to get any more rats for a while. But I lost 3 last month. I saw her this afternoon and fell for her hopelessly. She climbed down into my shirt pocket and fell asleep. She's probably 6 weeks old. I named her Moonshadow.

No, she's a Berkshire domestic one, although I have the word out for people to keep an eye open for a wild one because I want to raise one. Lyle, that would be a Christmas rat. Any self respecting rat would be insulted at being called a mouse, a thousand shame be on you.
