Faux (new guy) mentioned this and I just checked it myself. I actually posted a few entries there recently. Not sure why they are having issues again since things were pretty cool there for several weeks now. Just an excuse to bump this thread. ;)

You guessed it; had to find a link for reference at the DAP forum (yes; belong to several forums; lol) and found out that GIMPTalk's down. Almost want to shout some perjoratives; oh well. :)

Just verified this Ofnuts/Rod. Cool. For the curious, below's the link to the tut; since it heavily involves GIMP too for the actually isolation, the tut might be of interest to folk here too. :)

Lyle, those brushes are also available on deviantArt, which is a little more reliable.

Thanks; I originally got them from GIMPTalk in the day and haven't updated my links. Will do so now. :)

Anyone knows if the moderators are going to chime in and act against the russian spammers that make 90% of the traffic these days?

sad to say, I do not even go to GT for weeks at a time. It's too often down and not a whole lot of new tutorials and such are on there.

@ofnuts
For starters it might help to actually ask this on GT rather than here ...?

Anyway - not sure why the spam gates suddenly opened - it's been quiet for a long time. Something seems to have changed in the install somewhere. Rest assured the mods are working very hard to remove spam, you don't see half of it. :(

A little off subject, but the Registry more the periodically gets hit with spam too, but at least it's quickly resolved over there. So far GIMPChat's been relatively untouched and I hope it stays that way. :)
