This is the Thousand Islands Bridge that links Canada and USA in the St. Lawrence River. I have lived among these islands all my life and spent more week-ends than I can count camped on the Parks Canda owned ones.
We would meet up with a lot of friends and dock, when the dock was full we would raft off each other and sometimes we would have to go across two other boats to get to the dock. They were fun times.
This bridge spans between Ivy Lea ON Canada and Alexandria Bay NY and there are two bridges. and a large island between the two called Wellsley Island so the whole span is 7 miles.

When I was a child my father took my brother and myself on vacation to Thousand Islands. It was just an amazing experience! I saw an island that had ONE tree on it - it was that small!

I must say I have always enjoyed every trip to Canada - I've seen Montreal, Quebec and a city that's just north of Minneapolis

yup, we had friends in Florida next door to us from Minniapolis -St Paul and I remember them telling me they were just across from Winnigeg.
