I'm fed up of thinking I'm the only coffee drinker in the world so I need the support of other coffee drinkers. Which coffee do you like best? I'm a big fan of Carte Noire myself. Other than that, any good quality filter coffee will do.

Coffee is cool. :bigthup

I don't actually recall inviting tea drinkers to contribute to this discussion. :hoh

it was a clear provocation and we were perfectly entitled to react with violence - i think the UN would agree. we will make our graceful retreat, however, some ceylon pekoe needs to be brewed and some troublesome mughal brushes and rebellious knotwork need to be taught a lesson.

I have to agree with AmMal here...Clear Provocation!!! and I dare you to put your hand up if you have never tried yukky green tea...that would turn anyone off ...but the real stuff...Ceylon Tea with so many different blends...the only ones I cant stand are the what I called perfumed teas...like for instance...Earl Grey (spits)..and I'll drink tea with or without milk and no sweeteners at all either...nothing is more refreshing...even in hot weather...a nice cup of steaming hot tea!!!

Tea is fine as long as you flood it with milk. Any stronger and it leaves a nasty tannin taste in your mouth. If you have a coffee shop near where you live, go in and just smell some of those beans. Instant conversion to coffee!

Yes, coffee. With an expresso machine or a press pot. And none of that burnt water that passes for coffee in too many places in the US of A (*). And no fancy stuff in it...

(*) Still more drinkable than what you get Down Under, though.

I love coffee, and I have no favorites. I just buy what is on sale and it's all good. If I am going to get coffee at a coffee shop, I prefer Bixby, Panera, or Caribou Coffee to Starbucks. Starbucks tastes burnt to me. But when push comes to shove, I will drink any brand. At home I will drink coffee left over from yesterday...mustn't waste it. And I can enjoy a cuppa while a new pot is brewing.

I never touch the stuff, it will kill you. The best use for coffee is to be poured into the nearest potted plant.

I haven't yet come across a case of death by coffee - except maybe the potted plant. :hehe

Plants love it. As for it's health benefits, I never touch the stuff and I'm still alive, my grandparents drank it every day and are dead.
