I'm attempting to paint a "landscape".
Of course I'm keeping my style so things will be oddly sized and such but this will be a challenge!

Sketch:
It's kinda hard to see but lighting is horrible and the paper is textured so it's harder to fix in GIMP. :S
I should have sketched on the smooth side. XD

Enjoy! I'm pretty much stuck with the sketch as is but any CnC for future reference will/would be well noted! :D

Update 1 and 2:
Update 1:

I colored in the tree with the vine and then my first little puff bush (Idk I just always drew bushes like puffs! xD) then worked on minimally on the grass then moved on to the second puff bush and then the second foreground tree.

Image

Still have fine tuning to be done in the foreground and still have to paint the pond with the water lilies and the far background.

Paint, a few markers and colored pencils on watercolor paper.

Update 2:
Okey, I added a lot of things to this, I worked on shading a bit more I added the water and base washes to the background along with worked on the flowers a little bit.

Finished!:

Okay, needless to say I like to draw puff trees and bushes. xD
In the end I used markers (Washable to blend with water!) Watercolors, and some colored pencils. :D
Image

I'll put up a blog post later with materials used and stuffs.
Just though I'd note I used a page in a book for a reference on drawing the tree (not coloring!).

Enjoy! :D
CnC Welcomed, I'll say right now the bushes blend a bit much in to the grass idk how to fix that so..! Puft! xD

~ God Bless ~

Thank you. :>
Well, atm I'm coloring traditionally, but I could always color again digitally, or coloring it digitally if I botch it up traditionally. XD

mokonafan: :paint oooh, lovely! i just want to walk around in all those colours, that would definitely be a change from october in göteborg :). your landscape has that unique moko style that all your characters have and that always captures me :). on the critical side, i think i would have liked a more playful composition - the rose bushes and the big trees wouldn't have to be symmetrically arranged along one line, for example. on the other hand, the two big trees do frame the picture in nicely. hmm... i don't know, but i still think next time you do a landscape you should let the nature loose a bit more!

I agree about the composition, I've always had a bit of a "framing" thing with it, mostly because perspective isn't my friend. XD
I can just never use the perspective lines w.o being confused. D: - I'll can try and make it a bit more loose and fun the next time I do something like this. :D

I'm glad you liked it! :D :tyspin :tyspin
