Just purchased a GE 60W LED bulb from Wal-Mart for $12.01 after tax. Can I say wow already. I thought it would be bluish but it actually quite incandescant yellow (like I like it). My fluorescent bulb which suppose to have lasted like 7 years, actually only lasted around 4 (not bad; still for around $9 that I paid for it at that time, way too much). Very impressed with this technology. Only used 11W too. lol

Again, it's worth the cost to me. It suppose to last 13.7 years too. We shall see.

I think these bulbs have mercury in them, if these are the ones be sure to be careful if they break! There are special guidelines for clean-up and disposal.

Still, for a bulb to last 13 years that's cool. xD
