Okey! I managed to muster up inspiration! Thank God! :>
This is a drawing I drew today! 7 roses full of colors! :D
Title is supposed to be Italian for "Seven Roses of Color". I didn't know the word for colorful. xD

Name change upon help with Italian; Name is now Sette Rose Colorate - Seven Colorful Roses! :D

Took me a few hours (including distractions :hehe  ) but I managed to do it all in one day to not give up! Which I almost did! D:

Okey I hope you enjoy it! :3

The pictures killed colors and added a bit of shine from the lightbulb and flash of the camera (won't focus w/o flash turned on :( ). :S

Materials Used

Enjoy!

If I may, I would suggest changing the title to the more appropriate "Sette rose colorate", since in Italian "colorate" is the exact translation of the english adjective "colorful".

Regarding the drawing itself, excellent result, as always. :cool

mokonafan: :jumpclap :hi5 :clap beautiful roses! and i'm glad to see you got your inspiration back :). i really agree with baukjespirit about your skills with coloured pencils and i think your use of materials is very creative. quite honestly i had never thought of mixing markers and coloured pencils before i read about it in one of your posts. i also liked that trick you wrote about once on your blog, using crayola crayons together with coloured pencils and markers to get some gloss and shine.

What I love is your attention to the smallest little details, as well as your style of line art and coloring.

Yeah I'm a nut when it comes to materials! xD
At least most of it is cheap so it doesn't take a rich person to use them. xD

I don't know why you don't get notifications! :\
I don't get them either with blogs I "follow", I think it might be a personal setting I'm not sure.
From what I can tell you follow me through google plus, I'll see what's the issue there. :>

Yay thank you! :D

Welllllll I'm not as good with colored pencils, the marker helps a lot. xD
But I'm glad you think so! :> Mixed media is a good way for vastness in things and texture. :D
Other people mix their medias too but I guess everyone is different with approach. xD
