Well hopefully it is only for another 7 weeks (Keep warm). Doubt I could survive in a really cold winter. Where I live the coldest it gets we only have hail which melts quickly. Our ground doesn't get cold enough for snow.
Come to think of it that must mean the upper atmosphere just before ground level. Only places that see snow in Australia are mountains (We have a couple of ski resorts) and some high hills but it melts on them straight away.

No snow here, but there is definitely a cold snap upon us. My thermometer bottomed out this morning at 18 degrees, which is the coldest day of the year so far. I know that doesn't sound like cold weather to those of you in the Great White North but for us Southerners, who are used to sunny Southern weather, that's "purdie" dang cold. :pipe

It's a sunny 3°C in Vancouver, BC. We had some snow before Christmas but it's long gone now.

I walk to work every night because it's so close. This morning i think my eye lashes froze.
No snow here. We had a snowball fight with Canada and they have it all back now. :)
Over 10,000 flights cancelled last night in various states.
Really cold here too. It is supposed to get down to 7 or 8 degrees with wind chills of 20 to 24 below 0 Monday and Tuesday, then back to 18 degrees Wednesday! :lol
Gotta love Michigan. Like we Michiganders say

Me too conbagui. I wear a cardigan almost all year round to keep warm. Once it does get really warm I am comfortable with less, unless we have a hot spell of C40+ degrees. I don't usually need fans etc unless it is in the high 30's.

Crazy weather. We had a few inches of snow a few days ago. Right now it's 20°, but with 30mph sustained winds, the wind chill factor is 2°. Starting tomorrow, through Sunday, we're supposed to get 7-10" of snow. Then, Sunday night is supposed to drop to -15°, and a high of -2° Monday, with high winds. Fun, fun...
