Here I leave you two photos which can be enhanced. But also they can be interesting if applied any filter on. I'd like to see your creations if you like.

David, you have got enhancement both photos a lot. I like them. Any secret to share?

For the trees and the lake I used saulgoode Luminosity Masks - DD to lighten the trunks of the trees, LLL to brighten the sky and reflection on the water. On the second attempt I used the channel mixer to increase the colour from 100% in each channel to 110% and the other two colours in each channel I decreased by 5% from 0%.
For the bridge I again used the Luminosity Masks (DD, I think) to darken inside the arches - attempting to get the full contrast range. For the water, I made selections, feathered by 20 pixels and then used Colours, Curves. Just by moving opposite ends of the line inwards, towards the centre, so increasing contrast.
I am sure other people will do a more expert job!

Channel MIxer used to intensify the colours in the bridge photograph, but this time only in the red and blue channels - green was already quite intense.
I have probably overdone the effect to make it clear, but it can always be used as a layer above the original and then reducing the opacity will moderate the effect.

Hue, Saturation, Levels, curves and a touch of mid-range enhancement. I REALLY like what you did with the water in the bridge picture, David.

steven8: You really brought out the colours in the stonework of the bridge.
sallyanne: The texture in the tree trunks is really great.
I said others would do a better job then I can!

With G'MIC Specific saturation a little bit more color. The color balance in the original image is already good. Thereafter some detail filters of G'MIC.
