@Sallyanne: On a recent trip to Perth, I took this image using the 'panorama' setting on my camera.
Resulting in a 6242x1680 image size at 480 DPI (attached below). So trimming it down to 5760x1080 for my monitors is not too difficult.

@Others: Thanks for your comments.

That is the most gorgeous landscape of a city. This is one place I would like to go and that is Australia. It looks to be such a beautiful place. All the coasts and cities are so beautiful.

For you molly, here is the continuation of that panorama taken from a slightly different location.

Thanks Fluffy, I see the buildings way off to the left. What a beautiful scene. Do you live near Perth?

You just need to go to the right places.
The black widow is mostly in the Eastern states and the redback you mostly find in undisturbed places. The further you get into tropical areas the more and bigger they get.

(Now I fell like spiders are crawling all over me:S)

Just down the road to the east... about 1700 miles (2700 kilometres) :) But I have spent about 3 weeks in total on a couple of visits. Very enjoyable!

Just 1700 miles...Is that all. quite a jaunt.
Anyway, I have seen lots of pics of lots of large cities there. The Sydney Harbour for instance is quite spectacular. Melbourne. Yes, I would love to spend a couple of months there for sure. I will stay out of the rural areas cuz if I saw one snake, I wouldn't need a jet or a ship to make it back home, lol.

sallyanne and fluffybunny: hmm, after all the horror stories i've heard of australian creepy-crawlies i'm not that easy to calm down! but i get your point, it's not like we get much of our swedish fauna crawling around in göteborg either :). and i have to admit we don't have many things as cute as that mother and baby, fluffy!
