Removed the bench. Slight blur on the clouds. Colour boost and sharpening of the trees and the mountain.

Similar approach to the previous photograph - darkening and slight desaturation of the foreground. Colour increase and sharpening of the mountains, and a small amount of blur on the clouds.

David, nice enhancements, but may I suggest you to render the mountains with a more "rose" nuance? Dolomiti are famous for their "enrosadira".

Beautiful subject and photo to begin with. I do love the pink nuance, though!

Yes David, thanks.
The camera (my camera) does not take properly the Dolomiti nuance and shows always too much blueish.

dinasset,
I see from the EXIF data that your camera is a Panasonic TZ1. I believe it may be possible to change the white balance to remove the excessive blue.

Thanks David, I'll see what I can do for next year.
Today posted my last images, not very interesting, likely, for you.

A quick trial of adjusting colour temperature in RawTherapee.
First picture: camera white balance (6490K).
Second: sampled in cloud for neutral colour (6717K)
A small change, but perhaps an improvement.

A quick try at modifying the previous image using my new Luminosity Masks script.
By making a very loose selection around the station canopy, I was able to lighten the wood without affecting the adjacent areas within the selection. I changed the contrast/brightness within the mountains and made a separate adjustment to the sky. The green parts are, perhaps not as I would like, but this was done very quickly as a test.

Dinasset commented that the photographs of the dolomites should have more of a "rose" hue, so I thought I would try a new approach using my new luminosity masks plug-in.

Above the ML layer I put a new layer, filled with Light Coral (F08080) in overlay mode, 43% opacity.
Because this had a slight effect on the colour of the trees, I put a new layer above the DD layer, filled with the same colour which I then inverted, overlay mode, 46% opacity.
Here are the before and after.

Clever approach, David.
But in the test image it's overdone.
Thanks.

dinasset,

Thanks for your comments.
Never having seen the dolomites (except from 30,000 feet!), I was not sure what colour to use or the intensity. With a lower opacity of the overlay the correction to the trees would also probably be unnecessary. However, I hope the technique may prove useful as an alternative to the more difficult and time consuming process of drawing masks.
