This is an SCM script and needs to go in your USERFOLDER/.gimp-2.6/scripts folder
For example mine is here
C:\Documents and Settings\MyUserFolder\.gimp-2.6\scripts
Then if Gimp isn't already running restart Gimp.If it is running go to Filters/Script-Fu/Refresh Scripts.
That will tell Gimp to refresh the new script then you should see it under Filters/Misc

Another problem could be that you have saved the file with a txt extension. It must have a scm extension to work.

Next time you need to set your camera to compensate for tungstan lighting and use some form of flash. Anyway, dup, desat top layer (I like using Luminosity Desat for this), set that desat layer to 50% opacity and flatten. Now do an auto-level. I did do a few additional enhancments. Very noisey so I did the retoucher's trick (reduced the size to hide the noise; lol). Noise is your enemy with this type of capture. :)

this is great tip for some of my old pictures, will try this soon, thanks.
