Hello all. Thanks to all of you who have helped me this last few eeks with stuff.

I am back though with a question. Can gimp actually tell me what the ev values of the phot are and how to adjust them?

I know i can do it with levels and curves BUT i actaully need a ev number because after i make my adjustments in gimp with curves to over and under expose, i use another software app and it requires to know what the ev numbers are.

I do know in PS they have an option under color that says exposure and you can adjust it there and it will tell you a number and save it as part of the metadata in the jpg.

If gimp cant do it perse, then which program that is free will allow me to?

thanks aton guys.

awesome thanks guys. gonna check out those plugins and see how it works. I knew i could get a great answer here! haha

I have had bad luck lately with all plugins. For example, i just downloaded and put the exif browser plug in into the plugin folder and when i start gimp, it says it could not open and was closed. lol
