Hello,
it's my try with makeup using Gimp.
First is the original and second image is my try.

I changed the eye colour by making a new layer and using a hard brush, I followed a YouTube tutorial for this, I notice though that when trying to do brown eyes to blue it doesn't work as the underlying colour is darker than the blue, so I will need to learn a different method.
The eye liner and lash brushes I done by trial and error, it took me a few nights to do it.
I am pleased with the result for the level I am at, I would like to learn more, if anyone can give me any help, or pointers to tutorials on makeup in Gimp please.
I am currently working through the Essential Tutorials I am about 60% through the first one, I have also been using Gimp a lot each night (almost all evening, its addictive :coolthup) to practice.

both very nice images!
but to practice with make-up better to take as a base a less perfect girl! she doesn't need make-up at all! hehehe....
apart from the joke, you did a good job on the eyelash

Thank you for the feedback dinaasset.
You are correct I need not model photos, but natural faces, and skin to. I tried searches on these Public Domain sites so far Pixabay, morguefile, wixphoto I will try some different search terms.

Thank You Odinbc for the feedback :)
