I've been testing this method, varying the order of some steps, in many photographs, to conclude that it is adaptable to a generality of images. I find only one problem when applying the filter relief lights of G'mic, because dark halos are generated.

We can solve this problem by painting, with low opacity, on dark halo, with white to remove or confused it with the pic's background. Another option is apply to this layer a transparent layer mask (black). Depending of the pic's background, that is, if it needs to be so "metallic", we can apply one or either option.

I upload to my Dropbox a folder that contains a tutorial in .pdf format and the original pic.
