contained photos of flowers in his hemisphere with which I was unfamiliar.

His photos were taken in his mid-winter and around the shortest day of his year.

Here are some photos taken in our yard during Maine's beginning of summer and
around our longest day of our year (June 21st).

There is also a before (Winter) & after (summer) photo of our Wisteria & Hydrangea vines.

The contrasts between the hemispheres during the various seasons is truly awe
inspiring, Mother Nature is amazing.

Your photos and your flowers are beautiful. It looks like you put a lot of "loving" care and effort into them. I especially like the poppies.

Love the Wisteria. Not heard of Hydrangea vines before.
Many households here in the Southern hemisphere have the Wisteria over their car ports, (either that or grape vines). Although I have seen it in gardens in other ways.
